PLAINS TOWNSHIP, Penn. — Three people are dead after a snow shoveling dispute in Pennsylvania turned violent in the middle of a major storm Monday.
Officials in Luzerne County said a suspect shot and killed a husband and wife following a "disagreement over snow disposal."
District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis said the suspect "exited his residence and fired upon the couple, killing both husband and wife."
The body of the suspect was later found inside a nearby home, their death reportedly from a self-inflicted wound, U.S. News & World Report reports.
It is believed the suspect and the couple had been involved in an ongoing dispute leading up to the shootings.
