SALT LAKE CITY — Maverik is hiring! The company says they have nearly 200 positions available across the state ranging from retail to corporate support.
Maverik is based in Salt Lake City so that’s where jobs in departments like Marketing, Engineering and HR will be.
But it’s biggest need is at their stores from food service to management.
Cashiers are called “Adventure Guides” and Maverik is looking for people who will really enjoy helping customers “fuel up” for wherever their day will take them.
“Utah really and its environments offers so many adventurous activities, “said Michelle Monson, communications director for Maverik Adventures First Stop. “From hiking, biking, camping, definitely skiing and snowboarding, so we have a lot of folks living here that are just living and breathing that adventure and that’s absolutely what Maverik adventures first stop really represents.”
There are more than 150 store across the state so Maverik says most people will find one close to their home. The company boasts perks like tuition and gym reimbursement, a “Climb Bonus,” which is a quarterly payout system and of course, cleanliness that sets them apart.
“In terms of the bathrooms, yes I would say that we do have the cleanest bathrooms which we are awarded for year after year at our Maverik stores,” said Monson.
Maverik says it has put more effort into sanitizing to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect its essential workers.
