'A September to Remember', the Utah State Fair starts today

Posted at 1:34 PM, Sep 10, 2020

Thursday, September 10 is the first day of the Utah State Fair. It runs through September 20, 2020.

The theme is 'A September to Remember'. It highlights the state's agricultural history and adds a sprinkle of old past time favorites: rides, animals and traditional fair food.

But this year, face masks are required at all times in the Fairpark.

Budah talked with the Rodeo Queen, who says the rodeo will be held September 11-13. The Demolition Derby is also a go on September 9. And, the Monster Trucks are back on September 20.

You can buy your tickets ahead of time online, or you can buy them at the door.

There's a new app this year that helps you with the CDC guidelines. You can also buy food and beverages with the app, so you don't have to stand in line (so you can keep a 6 foot distance from others).
