Drinks for Mother's Day sipping

Mother's Day is Sunday -- let's give mom a break, let her put her feet up and sip on a drink!

Jim Santangelo from the Wine Academy of Utah joined us with drink recipes, one with a kick, and one without!

He also showed off a Mother's Day Box from Caputo's that includes chocolate, coffee and Orgeat Syrup used in his recipes.

Surf Liner Rye
'If quarantine has your Mom drinking whiskey, this is a cocktail for her!'
* 2 oz Sugarhouse Rye
* 1 oz pineapple juice
¾ oz fresh lemon juice
¾ oz Bar Daddy Orgeat Syrup
* 2 dash Peychaud's bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into an old fashion glass with crushed ice. Garnish with cherry and lemon wheel.

Orgeat-Ade
* ¾ oz lemon or lime juice
1 ½ oz Orgeat
Soda Water
Dash Aromatic Bitters (Angastura)
