UTAH COUNTY — An avalanche occurred in American Fork Canyon Monday afternoon, partially blocking State Route 92.
The slide came down shortly before 2 p.m. at milepost 11, near the Timpanogos Cave visitor center and trailhead.
The Utah Highway Patrol said by the time troopers arrived, the snow had already been cleared by volunteers.
No injuries were reported.
