"June is busting out all over!"
After some much-needed rain this past weekend, we're warming up and drying out. So, the first day of June is looking good!
It's going to be a warm day and temps will keep climbing this week. It'll likely be near 100 in Lower Washington County by the middle of the week and near 90 along the Wasatch Front. The chance of moderate heat risk will increase above 50% in most valleys by Wednesday and become even more likely by Saturday when it might hit the mid 90s along the Wasatch Front. Plan ahead and make sure you stay hydrated.
Storms this week will stay to our north, but one brushing by on Thursday could drag a weak, dry cold front across Utah. As a result, south winds will increase and likely lead to high fire danger across parts of Eastern Utah.
