Feels more like May than March!- Monday, March 9

and last updated

A warm start to the week! It's going to be sunny with SW winds helping temps climb well above average. However, the high pressure that's helped us warm up over the last few days will get flattened out by a storm track moving just to the north of us.

A storm will brush by later tonight and drag a mostly dry, cold front across Utah tomorrow. There might be some spotty precipitation over the mountains, otherwise increasing clouds tomorrow with cooler air moving in. Temps will drop noticeably tomorrow, but we're still going to hover pretty close to average (which is 54 degrees in Salt Lake City).

The cooler temps won't stick around for long. High pressure building back over Utah later this week will keep it sunny with temps climbing back into the upper 60s along the Wasatch Front by the weekend.
