Hot & dry again, but relief is on the way!
Near record heat is expected today with a high risk of heat related illness. Take breaks, drink water, & check on anyone who might be having a tough time with the hot weather!
Increasing monsoonal moisture will bring a chance of PM showers & t-storms tomorrow and into next week. At first, storms will be dry & bring gusty winds, but by Friday they're more likely to bring rain. Wet storms will be most likely by the end of the weekend.
The storms could bring heavy rain and will lead to a higher threat of flash flooding. The best news is that it's finally going to cool off ... temps will likely drop about 15 degrees lower by early next week!
