Wednesday warm-up; Stormy later this week- Wednesday, October 1

and last updated

It's the first day of October and it feels like it! Temps started out about 10-20 degrees cooler than yesterday morning, but a southwest flow will bring warmer, dry weather today. In fact, it'll be sunny and climb back up in the upper 70s along the Wasatch Front and into the mid 80s in lower Washington County.

It'll warm up even more tomorrow before the next storm moves in at the end of the week. Gusty winds are expected ahead of a cold front Friday. Valley rain & high elevation snow are likely over the north late Friday into Saturday. A few showers make it into the south, but the main impact will be over the north again.

It'l dry out by early next week, but not warm up very much, so fall will feel like it's in full swing!
