ST. GEORGE - More than 1,000 athletes gathered in St. George on Saturday for the city's third annual Ironman competition.
Ben Hoffman took home the top prize with a total time of 9:07:04. Meredith Kessler was first among the women and eighth overall with a time of 10:12:59.
This year's race will be the last full-length Ironman in St. George. Next year, the course will be split in half.
