PARK CITY — A $12,000 sculpture was stolen from the Park City Arts Festival this weekend.

The sculpture is of a steel lion that weighs more than 300 pounds.

The Kimball Arts Festival says the statue disappeared sometime late Friday or early Saturday.

The artist, Fredrick Prescott of New Mexico, said the piece was last seen between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday, last located close to the Caledonian along lower Main Street.

The sculpture’s dimensions are three feet wide by three feet tall and six feet long.
