FARMINGTON, Utah – A former LDS church employee is in jail on charges of aggravated sexual child abuse.
43-year-old Timothy William Bothell was arrested on Thursday on two first-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and four counts of Class A misdemeanor charges of lewdness involving a child.
There are two alleged victims in the case, ages 11 and 13 years old. Police say the alleged assaults happened in Bothell’s home near Christmas 2011.
