SALT LAKE CITY -- All eyes were on Jordan Wynn who is in his first game since injuring his left shoulder 11 months ago.

After throwing an early interception he settled down. Early in the second quarter, Wynn lofted a 10-yard pass to tight end Jake Murphy who makes a great diving grab for the first score of the game. The Utes added touchdown runs from Travis Wilson and John White the fourth for a 21-0 lead over Northern Colorado at halftime.

With the game in the third quarter, it was Wilson the 6-foot, 6-inch tall freshman from California running the Wildcat package and slashing in for his second touchdown run of the game. The Utes gain more points and make it 28 to nothing.

Then in the fourth quarter, it's Wynn going over the middle to Murphy again - the son of the former Atlanta Brave Dale Murphy. He caught six passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns.

Wynn completed 19 of 27 throws for 200 yards.

The Utes tacked on a Joe Kruger interception return and seal a shut-out in their opener, beating the Bears 41-0.
