FARMINGTON, Utah – Hot air balloons were launched into the sky at Antelope Island Friday morning as part of the sixth annual Antelope Island Festival.
Organizers say this year’s festival is bigger and better than ever.
“We always have more attractions every year. This year our new attraction was the kids’ tent and paragliders for the first time. Our kite feature has doubled. Last year, we had twenty folks from all over the country and this year we have forty folks from all over the country that will be out here flying these big huge kites,” said Barbara Riddle, Antelope Island Stampede Festival chair.
The festival runs through Saturday. For more information, visit antelopeislandstampede.com.
