SPANISH FORK, Utah - The body of Nicholas Ivie, the U.S. Border Patrol agent killed last week along the Arizona-Mexico border, was laid to rest in Utah Thursday.
His body was returned to Utah on Tuesday. Law enforcement from all along the Wasatch Front gathered at the Salt Lake International Airport for the arrival of the casket carrying Ivie's body.
The Honor Guard then escorted the casket to Spanish Fork.
Agent Ivie's funeral was held at the UCCU Event Center at Utah Valley University, followed by a procession to the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
