SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – A 6-year-old girl who went missing from her South Jordan home on Wednesday night has been found in Las Vegas.
South Jordan police say numerous investigative leads took them to Las Vegas where they found Kassidy Nelson with her non-custodial mother Megan Boynton and took them into custody without incident.
Police say Kassidy is in good health and will be returned to her great-grandparents, Kassidy’s legal guardians, as soon as possible.
The South Jordan Police Dept. thank the local media, U.S. Marshal JCAT team and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for helping them locate Kassidy.
