SALT LAKE CITY — A woman died Monday from the injuries she suffered in a car crash over the weekend in Salt Lake City.
The crash involved three cars and happened Sunday at approximately 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of 400 West and North Temple.
Sarah Elizabeth Kunz died at the hospital, according to Sgt. Josephson, Salt Lake City Police Department. She suffered head injuries in the crash.
Lt. Scott White, Salt Lake City Police Department, said on Sunday it appeared that a westbound truck rear-ended a car at the red light. The truck then veered off and hit another car.
White said the driver of the truck may have had a medical issue that contributed to the crash.
A man was also taken to the hospital, but with less severe injuries. There was no update available on his condition Tuesday.
