OGDEN — The Utah Department of Transportation has reopened SR-39 in Ogden Canyon after an emergency road closure Wednesday morning.
The road was closed due to a water main break that caused a rock slide.
When the water main break and rock slide first occurred, UDOT expected the road to be closed until Thursday, but the damage was less than originally projected.
The road opened around 5 Wednesday night.
