SALT LAKE CITY — A man suspected of robbing several Utah banks was arrested Monday.

South Salt Lake Police Investigators, Salt Lake Police Investigators and the Unified Police S.W.A.T. team arrested 38-year-old Caprice Tyrone Martin around 3 a.m. Monday at an apartment located at 3970 South 700 West.

Officers said they obtained a search warrant for the apartment after receiving several tips about a recent string of bank robberies. They said when they searched the apartment they found a mask, clothing that may have been used in the robberies and a small distributable amount of marijuana.

Police said Martin was arrested without incident, and was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail. He now faces charges of aggravated robbery and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
