LAKE POWELL — A Logan man died after a boating accident on Lake Powell Wednesday.
The accident happened near the Dangling Rope Marina around 8 p.m. when a boat hit a shallow, submerged sandbar.
Denise Shultz, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area public information officer, said a 23-year-old David Hinton of Logan, Utah was ejected from the boat, which then ran him over.
