SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah House legislative committee investigating Utah Attorney General John Swallow has chosen a law firm to help them.
New York-based law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld L.L.P. will be special counsel in the investigation.
The firm will do the leg work in determining whether the accusations of bribery and ethics violations against Swallow have merit.
The firm is in the process of negotiating a contract with the committee.
