PROVO — An 18-month-old girl died Thursday night when her father accidentally ran over her with a trailer at their Provo home.
It happened around 8:15 near 300 S 400 E. Provo police said the man had parked his vehicle on the side of the home and attached a trailer filled with concrete and dirt.
The man began to move the vehicle forward and accidentally ran over the girl. When officers arrived on scene, they confirmed the girl was dead.
An investigation will be conducted by the Provo Police Traffic Investigation Team.
