Fire crews investigate cause of Sandy house fire

SANDY, Utah — Fire crews are trying to determine the cause of a fire that started in a Sandy home early Tuesday morning.

It happened at 266 East 9585 West around 5 a.m.

Firefighters said the blaze started on the back patio of the house and spread to the attic.

No injuries have been reported. Damage is estimated at $30,000.

Investigators are still trying to figure out just what caused the fire.
