MIDVALE, Utah -- A burglary suspect is still at large after leading police on a car chase Monday.
Officers said they responded to a burglary in progress near 7000 South and 200 West in Midvale around 7:30 p.m. When they arrived on scene they said the suspect ran into a building and drove a truck through the garage door, nearly running over a police officer in the process.
Police said the truck the suspect was driving actually belonged to the business that was being robbed.
The chase was called off when the truck headed into heavy traffic in Murray around 5600 South and 640 East.
No description of the suspect is available, but the stolen truck is described as a white GMC pick-up.
