MURRAY — A Murray man was stabbed after getting into some kind of confrontation with a man outside his apartment Saturday night, Murray police said.
The victim was walking back to his apartment at Westwood Apartments, 2 Regal St., at approximately 9:50 p.m. when he reportedly came in contact with Fidencio Ulibarri.
Ulibarri was staying with relatives in the same complex, said Murray Police Sgt. Paul Christiansen.
The victim did not know the suspect, Christiansen said, and it was not clear what instigated the fight but the victim was stabbed in the stomach with a knife.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition, police said.
Christiansen said police have arrested Ulibarri before on domestic violence and assault charges.
