UTAH COUNTY, Utah — The Timpanogos Cave Trail reopened Tuesday after mudslides shut it down Saturday.
Timpanogos Cave National Monument officials said they were forced to close the trail because of mudslides caused by heavy rain in Utah County Saturday.
Officials said nearly 150 people were stranded at the Timpanogos Cave Visitors Center Saturday night for several hours due to the heavy rain.
