SALT LAKE CITY – Two men were injured in a drive-by shooting in Salt Lake City late Thursday night.
According to information from the Salt Lake City Police Department, two male adults were sitting on some grass on the north side of Fremont Avenue when a white minivan pulled up to the nearby curb, and a passenger in that vehicle fired several shots.
The shooting occurred at about 11:37 p.m. near 150 West Fremont Ave.
Each of the two victims sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. They were transported to a hospital in stable condition.
The motive behind the shooting was not immediately clear. Police said gang detectives are investigating the incident.
