SALT LAKE CITY – A missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who was serving in California died of injuries he sustained after he was hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle.
According to a statement from the LDS Church, Elder Andrew Edward Page, 18, of Charlotte, North Carolina had been serving in the California Arcadia Mission since August of 2013.
According to the statement, “Every Church member is deeply saddened and grieves at the death of a missionary. We unite our prayers and love in behalf of Elder Page’s family, friends and missionary companions.”
