SALT LAKE CITY — The Utes won’t be going to a bowl game this season, but they sent their seniors out with a 24-17 win over Colorado Saturday.
The Utes jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first half, starting with a touchdown pass from Adam Schulz to Jake Murphy. Kelvin York then had a pair of touchdown runs to give the Utes the 21-point lead. York rushed for 132 yards.
Colorado made a game of it in the second half, but the Utes defense made just enough plays to seal the win. Senior Trevor Reilly ended the final Buffaloes threat with a late interception.
The Utes end the season with a 5-7 record.
