SALT LAKE CITY — The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories, winter storm warnings and winter storm watches for many areas throughout the state.

Winter Storm Warnings
Winter Storm Warnings were issued for Beaver, Carbon, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Garfield, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, Morgan, Piute, Salt Lake, San Juan, Sanpete, Sevier, Summit, Tooele, Uintah, Utah, Wasatch, Washington, Wayne, and Weber counties. Winter Storm Warnings were also issued for Lincoln and Sublette counties in Wyoming.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving conditions may be hazardous.
Some areas could receive up to three feet of snow.
Winter Weather Advisories
Winter Weather Advisories were issued Box Elder, Cache, Davis, Duchesne, Morgan, Rich, Salt Lake, Summit, Tooele, Uintah, Utah, Wasatch and Weber counties. The Winter Weather Advisory also affects Bear Lake County, Idaho.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities.
While only a few inches of snow are expected for most areas, some could see up to 10 inches.
Winter Storm Watch
Winter Storm Watches were issued for Emery, Grand, San Juan and Uintah counties.
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant accumulations and/or blowing snow that may impact travel.
Up to 16 inches of new snow accumulations are possible in some areas.
