ECHO CANYON — A semitrailer rolled on I-80 in Echo Canyon near milepost 172 Tuesday morning, slowing traffic and closing several lanes.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers said the driver was going too fast in the snowy conditions, and ended up striking the right hand barrier. The driver tried to correct to the left, but ended up rolling.
Troopers said the truck was hauling beer, and had to be off loaded by hand.
The I-80 eastbound inside lane is closed, but traffic is running smoothly in the other lanes.
