RIVERDALE, Utah -- Shoppers are used to the familiar sound of The Salvation Army jingle bells ringing outside grocery stores and shopping malls, but that ringing means a lot to one Utah man.
FOX 13's Tamara Vaifanua had the opportunity to meet former Salvation Army employee Douglas Holladay, who is battling terminal lung cancer.
Holladay's doctors cannot guarantee that he will make it to Christmas, but despite his health, his will to give back is strong. His final wish was to ring the bell for the red kettle donations one last time, and that wish was granted Thursday.
Watch the clip above for Tamara Vaifanua's full report.
