HILL AIR FORCE BASE -- Some soldiers from Hill Air Force Base decided to play Santa Claus Wednesday.

Dozens of airmen and women helped distribute nearly 500 gifts to 166 Utah children currently living in foster care. It's all part of Utah Foster Care's annual Santa Brigade delivery program.

The soldiers gathered at offices in Murray and Ogden Wednesday morning, loaded up the presents and then fanned out across Davis, Weber and Salt Lake Counties.

Foster parents, like Jennifer Rosskopf, said being able to give these kids a little something extra means the world to them, especially this time of year.

"It just really nice," Rosskopf said. "It helps out the family with presents and also the kids love the things they get-- they're probably a lot better than what mom and dad would get them!"

If you'd like to donate to the Santa Brigade, Utah Foster Care will be collecting gift cards and checks until Dec. 23.Click here for more information.
