WEST VALLEY CITY — A man wearing a Santa hat and beard made of cotton balls robbed a West Valley City Bank Tuesday morning, officials said.
The suspect walked into the University of Utah Credit Union, 2755 S. Redwood Road, at 9:40 a.m. where he approached the teller and demanded money, police said.
After the teller handed over the money, the suspect left on foot. He reportedly walked toward a business complex next to the bank then left in a vehicle.
The man was also wearing sunglasses, a dark sweatshirt, blue jeans, light colored gloves and white shoes.
