SALT LAKE CITY -- Salt Lake City's New Year's Eve celebration began Sunday night, and the three-day event offers a variety of events.
The Downtown Alliance kicked off EVE 2014, which is a three-day celebration that is in its fifth year.
According to a press release, more than 40,000 people are expected to attend the events, which will be held in nine different venues.
