SALT LAKE CITY -- Two people are displaced after their Salt Lake City home caught fire Monday morning.
Fire crews said the fire started in a house located at 450 South 1300 East.
According to the Salt Lake City Fire Department, one of the two residents was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
The Red Cross is currently assisting the two adults who have been displaced.
Investigators said the cause of the fire was electrical. They said two bedrooms and the kitchen were affected. The cost of damage is estimated at $40,000.
