DRAPER, Utah – A man was killed in a vehicle accident Wednesday, and police said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Draper police officials confirmed to FOX 13 News that a 54-year-old man crashed into the back of a parked semitrailer and died at the scene.
According to information from Draper police, the accident occurred near 11500 South 700 East shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday.
No other injuries were reported, and there were no other occupants in the car or semi.
Police said the accident is being investigated, but they said they believe the man might have been driving under the influence of alcohol.
The name of the victim has not been released, pending notification of his family.
