‘Art with a Heart’ raises money for Shriner’s Hospital

SALT LAKE CITY – Three dance studios came together on Saturday for the Art with a Heart benefit concert.

This is the twelfth year the studios have come together to raise money for the Shriner’s Hospital for children with bone, muscular and joint diseases.

“One of the fun things that we’ve started at Art with Heart is that at the finally at the end of every show is one of the patients comes on stage and gets the chance to say thanks to the crowd and to tell a little bit of their story and to explain how Shriner’s has helped them in their lives,” said Mike Babcock, director of public relations for Shriner’s Hospital.

Since Art with a Heart was started, the dancers have raised more than $350,000 for the hospital.
