Police looking for missing man after San Diego shooting

SALT LAKE CITY – Police in Utah are asking for help finding a missing man connected to a shooting in San Diego.

Detectives say Gianni Belvedere’s fiance and brother were shot in a mall parking lot on Christmas Eve.

Former Provo resident Salvatore Belvedere, 22, was shot multiple times and later died. Ilona Flint died at the scene.

Gianni Belvedere was last seen at around 10 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2013, at his residence in the Tierrasanta community of San Diego.

Belvedere, 24, is described as a 6-foot, 165-pound white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He drives a dark green, four-door 2004 Toyota Camry XLE, with Utah license plate B154VZ.
