CLEARFIELD --A teenage girl is in critical condition after she fell off of the bed rail of a truck while the pick-up drove through a residential street Monday afternoon.
The victim was getting a ride home from a 16-year-old girl after school.
While sitting on the bed rail of the truck, the victim fell out when the driver took a turn in the area of 2300 South and 300 West at approximately 35 miles per hour, according to Clearfield Police.
A medical helicopter transported the girl to University of Utah Hospital with head injuries.
Another 16-year-old girl was sitting in the bed of truck and was not injured.
