SALT LAKE CITY – Gymnastics teams from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University open their season this weekend, and the Utes are expected to be among the best in the nation.
The Utes are ranked 6th in the country, and the squad includes nine All-American gymnasts, which is a record for the school.
The team includes first team All-American all-arounder Georgia Dabritz as well as Corrie Lothrop and Kailah Delaney. Delaney and Lothrop missed most of last season due to injuries.
Saturday's meet at the Huntsman Center will also include Southern Utah and Boise State.
