Chinese skiers dominate at World Cup Aerials in Deer Valley

PARK CITY, UT– It was a clean sweep for China on the podium at the World Cup Aerials from Deer Valley on Friday night.

Shuang Cheng, Xin Zhan and Mengatao Xu finished one, two and three after Chinese skiers claimed six of the 12 spots in the finals.

Emily Cook, the only American woman to make it past the qualifiers on Friday afternoon, finished seventh.

Anton Kushnir from Belarus won the men's aerials, followed by Qi Guangpu of China and Alexei Grishin, another skier from Belarus. American Jonathan Ellis missed the podium with a fourth-place finish.
