SALT LAKE CITY– Earlier in the week Gordon Hayward scored the final 17 points of the game for Utah and led the Jazz to a victory at home over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It must have taken a lot out of the Jazz forward. Hayward missed Friday’s game at home against Cleveland, and the Cavaliers took advantage.
In a return to Energy Solutions Arena, C.J. Miles scored 17 points and Kyrie Irving led all scores with 25 as the Cavs won 113-102.
Richard Jefferson led Utah with 18 points and Alec Burks, replacing Hayward in the starting lineup, added 16. The Jazz are off until Monday, when they host Denver.
