WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A man is dead after he was involved in an auto-pedestrian accident in West Valley City Friday morning.
Lt. Dalan Taylor with West Valley City Police said a 39-year-old man was crossing the street at 2700 West and 4270 South around 7 a.m. when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The man died at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
Taylor said the road is going to be closed between 4300 South and 4100 South until the scene is cleared.
