SOUTHERN UTAH — A medical helicopter was dispatched to Brian Head Resort Friday afternoon after a young girl was injured.
According to a press release from Brian Head Resort, a 4-year-old girl fell from a lift and sustained serious injuries.
The accident happened around 1:45 p.m. Friday when a 4-year-old female and an 8-year-old female who were riding a ski lift together got their skis tangled, which caused the 4-year-old girl to fall 20 to 25 feet from the chair to the ground.
The girl landed on her feet and then fell on her back. A medical helicopter transported the girl to a hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
