SALT LAKE CITY – It took more than eight decades, but the University of Utah Utes men's basketball team has finally beaten UCLA on their home floor.
The last time the Utes defeated the Bruins in Salt Lake City was in 1928. Making Saturday's 74-69 victory even more historic is that UCLA was ranked number 25 in the country.
Jordan Loveridge scored 17 points and had 9 rebounds for Utah in the win, their second straight. Utah improves to 14-4 overall and 3-3 in the Pac-12. Their next game is at Arizona State on January 23.
