BOUNTIFUL, Utah -- The Bountiful High School boy's basketball team is dominating the competition this season, winning their 14 games by an average of 20 points per game.

The Braves have two stars leading the way in Sam Merrill and Zac Seljaas.

“A lot of people know how me and Zac are, but it’s Bountiful that’s winning these games,” Merrill said.

They Braves are 14-1 and the favorite to win the 4A state championship.

“We always look for the championship and always fight for that,” Seljaas said. “But we always take it one game at a time and keep working for the state championships.”

“When we play our best, we are as good as it gets in the state,” Merrill said.

They won’t be teammates forever. Sam is going to play at Utah State and Zac is headed to Brigham Young University.

“I think we both made the decision that was best for us,” Merrill said. “But I’ll always remember Zac and the great three years that we’ve had.”
