OAKLAND, Calif – To look at the stats, you might think the result was very different. Utah scored 102 points and Trey Burke had a career high 15 assists to go with 24 points, matching the team high with Alec Burks.
But the 102 scored by Utah pales in comparison to the 130 scored by Golden State as they handed the Jazz a 28-point loss on Sunday night.
Klay Thompson led all scores with 33, and Stephen Curry had 31 as the Jazz lost their 17th game out of the last 20. Richard Jefferson, who played for the Warriors last season, had just two points. Former Utes’ star Andrew Bogut had six points and 11 rebounds.
The Jazz host the Mavericks on Tuesday.
