SALT LAKE CITY — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Friday the transfer of 85 missionaries who were serving in the Donetsk area of Ukraine.
The 85 missionaries were relocated to other areas within Ukraine “due to continued unrest in the region.”
“The wellbeing of missionaries is always our first priority, and every effort is being made to keep them safe,” a statement from the church said.
