Jazz lose to Lakers

SALT LAKE CITY -- Lakers’ Nick Young scored a season-high of 41 points to lead the Los Angeles team to a 119-104 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

The Lakers went on big runs in the second and fourth quarters, closing out the first half on a 19-to-2 run, and starting the fourth quarter on a 23-to-3 run to pull away in Utah’s final home game of the regular season.

Alec Burks led the Jazz with 22 points and Gordon Hayward added 21 points.

The Jazz has lost five games in a row, and 21 of their last 24 games.

The team will close out the season on Wednesday night at Minnesota.
